2. What every form should tell you - The "Easy-access" Template

We need to do the following:

• What nobody told you: Let’s answer the following questions

• Finding the headings

• Writing the page: Under each heading the room writes the sentence that should actually appear, in words a person understands without help.

When you will respond please see the following questions to guide our discussion:

• What did you need to know that nobody told you?

• What did the office demand before the form could even be started?

• Which required document did you only find out about when you were already at the counter?

• Which single word had to be explained to you by somebody else?

• What does a form like this assume you already know?

• Is there a term here with no real equivalent in Arabic?

• How would somebody who cannot read French get through this at all?

• What should the office have written at the top of the page, before anything else?
