1. Introduction
The IDEAL mobile app is a participatory democracy tool designed to help you engage with your city's decision-making process. It allows you to vote on proposals, join discussions, and track your civic activity securely from your mobile device.
2. Getting Started: Sign In & Authorization
Before accessing the main features, you must log in and authorize the app to link with your IDEAL account.

Step 1: Launch & Sign In
Splash Screen: Upon opening the app, you will see the IDEAL logo.
Action: Tap the large black button labeled Sign in with Decidim to begin the authentication process.

Step 2: Enter Credentials
You will be redirected to a secure login page (
ideal-platform.s5projects.eu).Input: Enter your Email address and Password.
Options: You can check "Remember me" to stay logged in or use the links to reset your password or create a new account if you don't have one.
Action: Tap the Log in button to proceed.

Step 3: Authorize Application
The app will request permission to access your account details (Name, Nickname, Email) and perform actions (Update profile, Read/Publish content).
Action: Review the permissions and tap the dark grey Authorize application button to grant access.
3. Main Navigation
Once logged in, the app is divided into three main sections, accessible via the Bottom Navigation Bar:
Vote: View and vote on active city proposals.
Discussions: Engage in debates and conversations.
Profile: Manage your profile and settings.
4. Feature Breakdown

A. Active Proposals (Vote Tab)
This is the primary interface for decision-making.
Browsing Proposals: Scroll through cards featuring active proposals (e.g., "Install Solar Panels on Public Schools"). Each card displays a header image, title, and a description.

Tracking Progress:
Vote Count: View the current number of votes (e.g., "850 Votes").
Time Remaining: Check the countdown (e.g., "5 days left") to see how long you have to participate.

Taking Action:
Tap the Vote button on any card to cast your vote for that specific proposal.
Tap the Comment button to access them and give your own reply

B. Active Discussions (Discussions Tab)
Join the conversation on various civic topics.
Discussion Feed: Browse through debate cards categorized by topic (e.g., "Urban Planning," "Culture").

Card Details:
Topic: Read the main question or statement (e.g., "Should we pedestrianize the city center?").
Engagement Metrics: See how active a discussion is by checking the Comments count (speech bubble icon) and Supports count (thumbs up icon).
Recency: Timestamps (e.g., "2 hours ago") show when the discussion was last active.
Participation: Tap on a card to read the full thread and contribute your own comments.

C. Profile & Activity (Home Tab)
This section is your personal dashboard.
User Profile: View your avatar, full name, handle (e.g.,
@juliadoe), and verified badges (e.g., "Verified Resident").Settings: Tap the Settings button to adjust your account preferences.
